Biophilia Series for Blue Heron Nature Preserve, Art of Nature
Erica Angelica created three photographs titled Connected, Elevated and Intertwined, which are a part of her series about interconnectivity and biophilia. Biophilia is the feeling humans have towards their connection between nature and their desire to be surrounded by it.
Biophilia explains that when humans are connecting themselves to nature they can begin to have feelings of love, elevated moods, and thoughts of their interconnectedness to spirituality within nature.
The series explores the interconnectivity between spirituality, humans, and Mother Nature and how we all flow as one. The photos are captured to embody the spiritual ethereal essence of the plants and how it can bring out positive emotions in one’s unconsciousness such as infinite love, happiness, and serenity.
The intention behind these photographs is to represent the magical elements of nature and how we as humans are connected to its beauty in our physical and spiritual embodiments on Earth and beyond.
